KS: Kroger's ORC Team works with Police to take down Fencing Operation
According to facts of the case presented by Reno County Assistant
District Attorney Andrew Davidson, police received information Patel was
fencing stolen merchandise through his store, so they set up a sting with
the assistance of Kroger's organized retail crime unit. Then, between April
6 and May 12, Patel acquired 47 cases of Red Bull, 16 containers of Tide
detergent and two cartons of Marlboro cigarettes, thinking they were stolen
from a delivery truck, and put them on his store shelves. Investigators then
obtained a search warrant for Patel's home and on May 22 seized drug packing
materials and 14 grams of marijuana.

World store hit for $50,000 in hair weaves On
June 16 at Beauty World at the Fayette Pavilion reported a Burglary. The
front glass door was broken and three suspects entered the store with large
trash bags and stole approximately $50,000 in hair weaves and other
products. The same location was burglarized earlier in the year.

COUNTY, TX: Duo charges thousands of dollars of items with stolen ID
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is looking to the public for help in
identifying two suspects who are wanted for identity theft and charging
$7,000 in merchandise. A woman and a man have been suspected to have opened
accounts after a 23-year-old woman noticed fraudulent accounts from Best
Buy, Macy's and Home Depot opened in her name. Surveillance photos from Best
Buy were captured of the suspects leaving with thousands of dollars worth of
merchandise including computers and expensive electronics.

Juvenile arrested stealing over 20 items from Victoria's Secret
The Victoria's Secret store in the Avenue has once again been targeted
for theft. This time around, the complainant told police that two teenage
girls entered the store and stole approximately 20-items. One customer in
the store at the time of the theft actually recognized both of the teens who
are believed to be 16-years of age. Since 2013, over $20,000 in merchandise
has been stolen from the Victoria's Secret Store in The Avenue, according to
past police reports.

Wegman's Loss Prevention bust a Shoplifter with a $500 odd list of goods
Following a chase, a person matching the description given was found by
police and was taken into custody. Loss prevention told police the man had
placed four 20-roll packs of Scott toilet paper, six four-packs and four
12-packs of Red Bull energy drink, 13 packs of soap and 20 packs of condoms,
total value estimated at $545.26, into a shopping cart and passed all points
of purchase.

DE: Men steal 44 boxes of medicine from Acme
Police are trying to identify two men who were caught on camera taking
medicine off the shelves at Acme last week. Newark Police said the store's
loss prevention officer was reviewing last week's security footage on Monday
and saw video of the men stealing over-the-counter medicine. One of the men
acted as a lookout while the other stuffed boxes of pills into his pants,
then they switched roles. In total, the two men stole 22 boxes of Mucinex
cold medicine and 22 boxes of Claritin allergy medicine worth a total of
approximately $1,759.
