Blue Line Technology Introduces Intelligent Facial Recognition
Robbery
Deterrents - Theft Prevention - Greet Your Best Customer
Blue Line Technology is a security technology company developed by a group of
retired law enforcement personnel with more than 120 years of collective
experience in crime reduction strategies and deterrents. With this expertise,
the team at Blue Line Technology has introduced a state-of-the-art facial
recognition system designed to deter and prevent crime at the doorstep before it
occurs.
78 percent of convenience store crime occurs between the hours of 11 pm and 5
am. Additionally, 90 percent of robberies involve a masked armed gunmen. First
Line Facial Recognition is the solution. In addition to the violence prevention
potential of Blue Line's security system, most retail locations report losses
due to theft at roughly 3 percent. Implementing Blue Line Technology's software
creates a unique deterrence factor, and can save a store thousands of dollars in
shrinkage yearly.
Here's how it works...
With First Line Facial Recognition, pictures of known threats can be entered
into the system and if someone approaches an entrance, the Blue Line Technology
camera will immediately recognize them as a threat, alert management and
security, and not allow them entrance. The system requires a readable face to
unlock the door. This means if a subject approaches wearing a mask, he or she
will be denied entrance. Additionally, the monitor can be positioned in a way
that a potential criminal is made very aware that a system has caught their face
on camera, acting as a significant crime deterrent. The first thing a criminal
thinks of when determining whether or not to break the law is how easily they
will be caught. If they know their face was caught clearly on camera, there is
an excellent chance the criminal will not go through with their plan, and move
to a location without this powerful technology. Most retail and grocery stores
have a file of individuals who have been caught shoplifting, including their
photo and personal information. Quality photos can easily be loaded into the
First Line Facial Recognition system to alert store managers regarding the
presence of known shoplifters. This allows for advance warning for protection
against both shoplifting and fraud in checks and credit cards. An additional
important feature is the ability to immediately synch any photo entry of a
threat to users sharing a database. Even if the suspect in an offense should get
away, their captured image can be shared with stores to avoid additional losses.
First Line Facial Recognition is a perfect addition to a retail location's
surveillance systems already in place. It can use the existing monitoring and
add alerts to the main panel. Blue Line Technology's system allows for the very
best use of security and police officers for immediate response. The value-added
is in locating violators prior to theft occurring, preventing violent
confrontations, lawsuits and employee injuries.
First Line Facial Recognition integrates seamlessly, turning a security feed
from passive to active. The simplicity of the Blue Line system is the key. The
interface of the system is very easy to navigate. End users can build and
completely control their own database.
Blue Line Technology is taking retail security against violent acts and loss
prevention to another level, giving decision makers the unique opportunity to
better protect their employees and customers, limit shrinkage, and provide
excellent civil liability protection for their stores.
