Police are reviewing video and continuing to investigate a substantial theft of
merchandise from the Ralph Lauren store on Greenwich Avenue. The store reported
the theft of items worth over $10,000 on Wednesday. Specifics were not released.

Somerset, PA: Four suspects arraigned in $11,000 Credit Card Fraud
Four people were arraigned Friday before District Judge Ken Johnson of Somerset
on additional charges in a case involving fraudulent credit cards and retail
theft. The additional suspects are being held in the Somerset County Jail, each
in lieu of a $1 million bond. According to a probable-cause affidavit, the
foursome was responsible for obtaining or attempting to obtain more than $11,200
in merchandise from nine stores in Somerset Township and three stores in
Somerset Borough with counterfeit credit cards on Dec. 18.

CN: Police stuck on investigation into theft of $1,528 worth of chewing gum
Police in a city north of Toronto are chewing on a bizarre crime. York Regional
Police say a man stole more than $1,500 worth of gum from a pharmacy in Markham,
Ont., and they're hoping the public can help them identify the culprit.
Investigators say the man went to the drug store on the evening of Dec. 17 and
video surveillance shows he went to the candy aisle, filled a garbage bag with
gum and left. A few moments later he re-entered the store, filled another
garbage bag with chewing gum and walked out again. Police say they believe he
loaded both garbage bags - containing chewing gum worth $1,528 - into a waiting
taxi.
