Cap Index Settles Lawsuit Against Data Company

CAP Index, the nation’s leading provider of crime risk forecasting services, is pleased to announce that it has settled the lawsuit it brought against Location, Inc. CAP’s suit, filed in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleged copyright and trade dress violations. CAP settled those and other claims on terms that are confidential, by agreement of the parties to the lawsuit.

The suit was brought by Cap Index against Location, Inc. in July of 2013 (Civil Action No. 13-cv-04225-CDJ).
