Police search warehouse for $30M worth of stolen maple syrup. The syrup was stolen last month from a
Montreal warehouse that is owned by the Federation of Quebec
Maple Syrup Producers and is part of a global strategic
reserve of maple syrup. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police
are now saying that their investigation has led them to a
business in New Brunswick and a search warrant was executed
there on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Because of the
mild winter earlier this year, maple syrup production has
been down and syrup prices have been up. These statistics
scream for thieves to jump on them. Could maple syrup be the
next Tide?

was an officer at the Niagara Regional Police Service and
another was a former officer. The third man was from Fort
