return policy at Nordstrom taken for $150,000 in
Cincinnati. Six individuals
have plead guilty to multiple charges, including theft,
money laundering, identity fraud, telecommunications fraud
and receiving stolen property. The group used counterfeit
checks and stolen credit card numbers to purchase
gift cards at Kroger. The thieves would then purchase items
at Nordstrom, wear them, and then return the items for cash,
taking advantage of Nordstrom’s return policy. (Source

Two Florida men arrested hitting Wal-Mart stores and notes
found in their vehicle with security details about several
Walmarts in Florida Deputies in Indian River
County arrested two shoplifters at Wal-Mart who had been
gathering details on security for other locations throughout
Florida. William Thayne, 41, of Boca Raton and Jose Santiago
Ramirez, 44, of Weston were charged Friday with felony
shoplifting in concert with others. Ramirez has sold more
than 200 items on eBay in the past few months, according to
his affidavit. The Sheriff's Office is continuing to
investigate Ramirez in connection with other thefts.
