Second suspect in Danbury, CT arrested in ORC theft at Lowes.
The group returned stolen items and were issued gift cards,
which were sold to a local pawn shop for 40-50% of face
value. Jason Kocenko, 35, of Willow Springs, became the
second person charged in the thefts, which occurred in July
and August 2011. On Friday, police arrested a 39-year-old
New Fairfield woman, identified as Christine Early, who they
said was also part of the shoplifting ring that targeted the
home improvement store. (Source

Five people faced with 300 charges of fraud in GTA identity thefts.
After raids in Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, and Toronto, a police
team seized blank cards, computers, a hologram tool, $354,000 in
counterfeit U.S. $100 bills, and $67,890 in Canadian banknotes. The
police ended up shutting down two separate identity theft labs.
