Group hits Loehmann’s for nearly $3000 in handbags.
One woman is behind bars while three others, along with a
male driver, remain at large in connection with the thefts
of expensive purses from Loehmann’s department store.
Violence has been an issue with this group, on July 16th
attempting to make the apprehension was involved in a
scuffle and bit by one of the suspects; another incident
involved a store associate almost hit by the get-a-way car.

Kerastase Age Recharge shampoo becomes a hot item at
Darien CVS.
The mid-aged, overweight, plaid short wearing
suspect, walked into the CVS grabbed four boxes of Kerastase
Age Recharge shampoo, valued at nearly $300, and walked out
handing the product to another man. Police are reviewing the

Baby formula, diapers and fake credit cards, land 2 Brooklyn
men in jail.
Police were investigating an incident at the Shop Rite
grocery store when they noticed a car rushing out of the
store’s parking lot, violating a motor vehicle law. Brandon
Gibbons, 22, and Jemel Vickers, 29, were released Tuesday
from the Bergen County Jail after each posted $10,000 bail.
Detectives found 14 credit cards in Vickers’ name. A variety
of diapers and baby formula in five to six bags and worth
about $1,000 was also discovered.

Five TJ Maxx Associates charged with theft.
Over the past 30 days, the five associates at the TJ Maxx in
Bridgehampton Commons stole at least $1300 in merchandise.
All five suspects in their 20’s, each charged with petty
larceny, two will also be charged with conspiracy in the

Torres (CVS Caremark) is now the Sr. Advisor & Board
Member at the Los Angeles Area Organized Retail
Crimes Association (LAAORCA).
Previously, George was the Retail Co-Chair for
LAAORCA, a position he held for almost two years.
That position is now held by Debbie Ho. LAAORCA is a cooperative effort
between retailers, the Los Angeles Police
Department, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, U.S.
Secret Service and many other Southern California
law enforcement agencies. The organization was
developed to share case intelligence and work
collaboratively on retail crime prevention and
