Bicycle thief linked to over $100k in stolen bikes
caught in Boise.
Police were able to ID suspect break into a locked
trailer parked at a hotel and steal 13 bikes, belonging
to a racing team, one day before the inaugural Exergy
Tour was scheduled to begin. Officers could connect him
to dozens of bike thefts in Boise and were about to
present their case to prosecutors for an arrest warrant
when they got a call early Thursday morning that he was
in custody after being caught trying to steal car tires
from the Les Schwab store. He is being held in the Ada
County Jail on 13 counts of grand theft and one count of
burglary. (source

UK teenagers stole smart phones from shops to resell.
The group of youths, ranging from 14-20, targeted shops in
Liverpool and Wirral in a thieving spree that stretched over
two months. The teens then sold the iPhones
and Blackberries
for profit. Two of the youngest boys and one of the oldest
have already been sentenced. (source
