Axis Communications Announces New Products at ISC West
 

It only seemed natural for Axis to make a big announcement at one of the industry’s biggest tradeshows – ISC West. On Wednesday, March 28th Axis announced the release of the following products:

· AXIS Q87-E Series Network Camera
· AXIS M1143-L and AXIS M1144-L Network Cameras
· Eight new AXIS P33 Fixed Dome Network Cameras
· AXIS T8604 Media Converter Switch
· AXIS T8129 Power over Ethernet Extender
· AXIS T8640 Ethernet over Coax Adapter PoE+

With the release of these new products, Axis continues to expand its IP video offering and address the needs of the market. The new AXIS Q87-E Series combines HDTV performance and thermal technology for mission critical detection, recognition and identification. The successful AXIS M11 Network Camera Series welcomes two strong additions to the family: the AXIS M1143-L and AXIS M1144-L Network Cameras with integrated IR-LED illumination and mechanical IR-cut filters for true day/night surveillance. The eight new AXIS P33 Fixed Dome Network Cameras include indoor models streamlined for cost-efficiency, as well as indoor and outdoor models offering features such as vandal resistance, audio, I/O ports and integrated IR illumination. The new AXIS P33 Series Network Cameras also feature Axis’ revolutionary Lightfinder technology. And finally, Axis takes you farther with three new accessories that extend the distance and power of a network surveillance system and help drive the shift to digital surveillance.
