ORC group of two using fraudulent credit cards in
Idaho busted and believed to be part of a larger
ring.
The pair of Florida suspects had defrauded
Walmart stores in Boise, Chubbuck, Blackfoot and
Mountain Home prior to Rexburg. They bought
merchandise and Walmart gift cards using
manufactured credit cards with valid numbers on
them. After their Rexburg stop, they’d planned to
head to Billings, Mont., and possibly onto
Washington state, where police said one suspect may
have relatives. Rexburg Police Capt. Randy Lewis
said the men are Cuban, and believes they are likely
part of a larger fraudulent credit card ring. We
think they may be the runners,” Lewis said. "We
believe it’s a lot bigger." "We believe there may be
other states involved."
