Piedmont woman linked to ID
theft investigation.
Nine people have been arrested in
connection to an investigation that has uncovered
more than 300 potential victims of identity theft.
It is alleged that one of the suspects worked at
American Quality Exteriors and had access to credit

Woodville Walmart theft could
be part of larger theft ring.
On January 3, a woman was arrested outside of
Walmart with several items of jewelry in her purse.
While she was being transported to jail, another
woman was found at the same Walmart with items from
another store that she could not produce receipts
for. Upon further investigation, it is believed that
these two women were conspiring with a ring of other
people in a Walmart scam that covers 16 counties in
Texas. (Source
