USS to Showcase Simplicity of IP
Upgrade
at FMI Conference
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., (March 4, 2015) - To address the steady
retirement
of analog-based LP systems, USS is redoubling its efforts to help retail
chains
upgrade to IP systems. The company will demonstrate how simple and
cost-effective the migration from analog to IP can be at the Food Marketing
Institute (FMI) Asset Protection Conference, from March 9 to March 12, 2015,
in
Memphis, Tenn., at booth 1.
“Retailers employing IP systems are quickly seeing the benefits of
upgrading,”
said Gerald Becker, USS’s vice president for Physical Security, “but a lot
businesses don’t realize it’s so easy and cost-effective to make the switch
when
you have the right integrator. That’s where we come in.”
Becker stated that IP aspects he plans to reveal at FMI include the benefits
of
upgrading to an enterprise camera system, the effectiveness of POS-video
integration and the increased profitability video analytics can bring. He
continued, “With all the features, analytics and training we provide our
customers, the ROI is easy to prove.”
According to Becker, he will show how IP’s adaptability allows the upgrade
from
analog to be done in stages, and that this flexibility makes the switch
suitable
for virtually any budget. “Even better,” he claimed, “we’ll show how the
integrated analytics can drive a business’ profits and offer benefits beyond
just LP.”
“With these systems, the LP team won’t just protect the bottom line,” Becker
noted. “It’ll boost it.”
