video shows thieves stealing high-end eyeglass frames in Houston
Police are looking for five burglars who smashed their way into the Eye Impact
store in the Memorial area to steal high-end frames. The store's owner, Dr. Gray
Nguyen, lives above the store located off Washington and Asbury. He was asleep
around 5:00 Wednesday morning when his dog started barking and the alarm was
triggered. Nguyen called 911 then went downstairs to investigate. He heard
rustling in the shop and went back upstairs to wait for police. Nguyen says the
thieves were in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes and were gone by
the time officers arrived. (Source

Bradenton, FL Macy’s employee charged with theft after stealing in 3 different
ways Dominique Lynn Mapes, 21, is charged with theft after she stole
from Macy's as far back as Aug. 6, 2013. She was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Mapes purchased listed items for the listed amount and then processed a refund
without returning the merchandise. On another occasion, Mapes placed an
additional $130 of merchandise into a friend's bag without charging her, the
friend left without paying. A woman named in the report stated that Mapes
processed five refunds of $40 each, which totaled to $200 in fraudulent refunds.

5 Arrested for Shoplifting more than $3,000 from TJ Maxx and Marshall’s in CT
and NJ Five people were arrested Wednesday after allegedly shoplifting
items worth more than $3,000 from stores across Connecticut and New Jersey, and
one was found to be in possession of marijuana. Police responded to a complaint
of shoplifting at the Marshall’s store at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. Raysean Simpson,
30, of Yonkers, N.Y.; Alberto More, 28, of Bronx, N.Y.; Kristopher Bowen, 22, of
Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; Tashay Smith, 25, of Perth Amboy, N.J.; and Shenice Green, 27,
of Bronx, N.Y, were arrested. Police said they later located several other items
with security sensors still attached from other Marshall’s and TJ Maxx stores in
Connecticut and New Jersey valued at $3,086.64 in the two cars they were
traveling in. A Milford Police K-9 also allegedly found 17.5 grams of marijuana

Arrested once a month for shoplifting, Grand Rapids man now faces armed robbery
charges It has not been a good spring for 43-year-old Michael Scott
Robinson. Robinson has been arrested once a month, starting in March, for
shoplifting at the Meijer in Walker. He was then busted again in April for
shoplifting from Meijer. Authorities allege he stepped it up a notch when he
pulled a knife on an employee at the Family Fare store connected to Rogers

Pair arrested for shoplifting at Kohl's in Rochester, NY Two Dover
residents were arrested Monday for an alleged shoplifting incident at Rochester
Kohl’s last month. Julie M. Henderson, 31, and Michael A. Chase, 31, both of 10
New York St., Dover, were charged with willful concealment, a Class B
misdemeanor. On April 25, they allegedly concealed merchandise at Kohl’s and
