Houston ORC Investigation uncovers $150,000
stolen cell phones.
Police arrested three men accused
of stealing more than 300 cell phones from various retail stores
around the Houston area. Police searched the business and recovered
160 phones worth a total of $88,000 that were stolen from a Sprint
Store and over $60,000 from Radio Shack. Police believe the 60
Verizon cell phones, 92 cricket phones and 45 Boost phones are
believed to be from burglaries in multiple states.

Seattle area Store Owner
sentenced to sixteen months for ORC.
The GMS Market was paying local
shoplifters for goods later sold at the store and web site. The
owner’s wife was sentenced to 9 months of electronic monitoring and
their son and daughter-in-law await sentencing.
