Universal
Surveillance Systems Foundation to Donate Free Bicycles to Low-Income Children
Across the Nation
Rancho
Cucamonga, CA - October 9, 2013 - The Universal Surveillance Systems
Foundation (USSF) continues it’s mission to break the cycle of poverty by
donating free bicycles to hundreds of underprivileged children nationwide
through their Adopt-a-Bike program. USSF will select five to ten schools to
receive new bikes this holiday season in hopes of encouraging students to
continue their education and strive for a better future.
The USS Foundation wants to inspire children to stay in school, work hard, and
break the cycle of poverty by providing new bicycles to students who may
otherwise become discouraged by economic obstacles. Twenty-five semi-finalist
schools were selected that have a large number of students whose families are
struggling with poverty. New bikes will provide reliable transportation for
these children to get the education necessary to achieve a better life.
The final schools will be selected based on amount of public support each
receives on the USSF Facebook page. Individual bike recipients will be selected
by their school based on academic standing, attendance and good behavior. The 25
semi-finalist schools are listed on

“As a child who grew up in poverty I can relate to the struggles these children
are faced with, and one of them shouldn’t be getting to school each day,” said
Adel Sayegh, founder and CEO of USSF. “I will continue to do all that I can to
make sure these children have the transportation needed in order to get an
education and increase their chances of a better life. The USS Foundation will
be a part of making this a better Christmas for the children, while also making
their futures brighter by providing them with transportation to school.”
Founded in 2011 by Adel Sayegh, president and CEO of
Universal Surveillance
Systems (USS), the USS Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated
to
helping underprivileged children to have the tools, skills and knowledge to
build a better life with a hope for a brighter tomorrow. Adopt-A-Bike, has
donated hundreds of bicycles to low-income children in numerous states to assist
them in traveling to school.
