Ed Kunkel joins Universal Surveillance Systems' Sales Team

Universal Surveillance Systems LLC (USS), the largest privately held manufacturer of loss prevention technology in the United States, has named Ed Kunkel as Senior East Coast Regional Sales Director where he will assist retail corporations in the eastern US with enhancing their theft prevention programs through USS' state-of-the-art loss prevention (LP) solutions.

Kunkel brings over 20 years of experience in LP, most recently with Aeropostale, Inc., where as Vice President of Loss Prevention he built the company's small LP department into an effective sophisticated force by implementing multiple strategies and security programs at the company's 956 stores that significantly reduced inventory shrinkage. Kunkel has also held executive and managerial LP positions at other national retail corporations including Limited Brands, Lane Bryant and Ann Taylor where he led additional successful shrink reduction programs encompassing physical security, investigations, awareness training and auditing.
