On June 26 several subjects were arrested after they used a sledge hammer to break into the Coach store in Carmel, California
The subjects were in possession of over $10,000 of Coach items that they had stored in plastic totes. The subjects are from the Fresno, California area. This is the second time that we have had subjects breaking into a Coach store that were later arrested and were from the Fresno, California area. The previous break-in was in Modesto, California (Vintage Faire Mall) on February 21. We think this group are major players and may be linked to other break-ins in Northern California and would like to get the word out. People can contact Dan Hafford, Divisional VP Loss Prevention for Coach, via email and will be directed to the appropriate law enforcement agency to see if there are any connections.

Your Career - Sponsored by 3VR

Yes, No, Maybe So: Defeating Decision Fatigue Almost every waking moment, you're making a decision. Do you want to eat eggs or toast? Wear the blazer or the cardigan? Take the stairs or the escalator? And that's just the easy stuff. While each decision by itself may sound simple, the seemingly endless stream of decisions can really deplete you of time, energy, and motivation.  (And even happiness!)

If You Don't Prioritize Your Life, Someone Else Will "A 'no' uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a 'yes' merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble." So said Mahatma Gandhi, and we all know how his conviction played out on the world stage.  (3 tips)
2 Tools to Help You Make Smarter, Faster Decisions on The Fly Think back to the pivotal decisions of your life and career today. Now think about how much thought you spent on those choices. Likely, less than a few minutes. You spun through an unconscious process of information-gathering and patter application. (Chart your life's trajectory)

The Secret to Powerful Communication in Two Words If Nick Morgan had to sum up in two words everything he's learning on communications, rhetoric, public speaking, speechwriting, and body language, those two words would be: charismatic storytelling.  (Short and sweet)

Tip of the Day - Sponsored by Vector Security

Providing a reference on an executive is a serious commitment and should never be taken or given lightly as references play a critical role in the decision process regarding major investments companies make when they hire a new executive. For example, when a company hires a $100,000 a year executive, they'll spend close to $200,000 on that executive in the first year alone merely to get the executive up and running. And if your recommendation isn't accurate, it could lead to problems not only for the company referencing the executive, but also for the executive themselves and that's the real concern. So when you're asked to give a reference, make sure you understand the position they're looking to fill and give an accurate assessment based on your experience and knowledge of that person and of the needs of that position. Because the last thing anyone wants is to have an executive fail in their new position if it could have been avoided.

Just a thought,
